Video & Media Moderation Policy

1. Mandatory Pre-Publication Human Review

No user-uploaded video or photographic evidence is ever published automatically to the public Community Action Feed. Every file must be reviewed and certified by an authorized DPA Content Moderator or Ward Representative.

2. Redaction & Privacy Standards

• Minors & Children: Any footage showing identifiable children without parental consent will be rejected or blurred.
• Private Residences: Focus must remain on public municipal infrastructure (roads, pavements, mains, poles), not private home interiors.
• License Plates & Sensitive ID: Private vehicle registrations and identity documents are redacted before publication.

3. Reporting Abuse & Immediate Takedowns

Any citizen who believes a published video infringes on their privacy or constitutes misinformation may click the "Report Content" button on the feed item or email ethics@dpaparty.co.za for immediate takedown review within 4 hours.
